It's been a while since I've read the story, but here's what I believe.
There aren't really that many situations of irony, but many situations of foreshadowing in the story, where the story sort of hints the reader at what happens later on, but doesn't really allow the reader to know more information than necessary to create dramatic irony.
One situation could be that we sort of know the situation that Emily was in with the fact that she refused to accept changes in her life, however the rest of the town doesn't seem to know this.
